Directions & Arrival

The farm is located at 8462 Line 6, Kenilworth Ontario N0G2E0, you can also use Google Maps by entering “The Pfisterer Farm”. Please do not arrive any earlier than 3:00pm, we are booked every night and require time to clean the camp for your stay. We have recommended some great local places to check out if you have time before your arrival at the farm.

Farm Tour

 

Farm tours will take place upon arrival where you’ll have a chance to see, pet, feed, and photograph the animals! 

​

Accessing the camp

 

The camp is located at the back of the property, we will provide you with a vehicle to drive to and from the camp during your stay. You are welcome to also walk or take your own vehicle at your own risk.

Amenities

 

The tent is equipped with the following

​

• 1 queen bed with linens and pillows

• 1 fold out futon, no linens or pillows

• 2 single camping cots, no linens or pillows

• 1 propane bbq with propane and single propane burner 

• Grengine (portable power) to power lights and small electronics

• Fire pit

• Separating toilet with toilet paper (see note below)

• Board games

• Table and chairs (2)

• A few pots and pans

• Plates, bowls, cups, mugs, cutlery

• Mixing/serving bowls, tongs, bbq flipper, knives

• Hot dog pokers

• Kettle/percolator

• Basin for dishes/washing up with soap

We have installed a Sun-Mar GTG separating toilet which separates solid and liquid waste into two chambers, producing almost no odor. It is your responsibility to empty the two chambers before you check out, dump the liquid container and tie the bag lining the solids container. We will provide instructions and gloves for your convenience. We can perform this service for $100 if you so choose.

What we recommend you bring

• Fire wood (see note below)

• Food

• Water - there is NO water access at the camp

• Paper towel/ cleaning supplies

You are able to purchase farm products and firewood for your stay through our website before you arrive. All of our meat is frozen but we are happy to thaw it for you to enjoy during your stay. Please place any orders 48 hours prior to your stay, you are of course welcome to purchase on site as well! Our delicious pasture raised chicken will be back in stock the week of June 14th.

What’s local

 

The closest towns are Arthur and Grand Valley, both 15 minutes drive. Each has a few restaurants, grocery stores, LCBO, pharmacies, breweries and distilleries. Please know that most businesses are closed on Sundays.

​

There is so much to see and do in Wellington County and Wellington North Township, lot’s of information can be found here.

​

Our farm is located across from Damascus lake which offers trail access for hiking and fishing. 

 

Guests

We do not allow any guests in addition to the campers (max 6) who have registered to stay upon booking.

 

Pets 

As much as we are animal lovers there are NO pets allowed at the farm. As a working farm we adhere to strict biosecurity protocol to ensure the health and safety of our animals. 

Waiver

Every guest participating in glamping or events at the farm is required to sign our liability waiver. A copy can be found below for your records. A copy will be provided for your signature upon arrival.
